The global pandemic brought unprecedented challenges to many industries, including the creative and event sectors. As a digital marketer and content producer, I found myself in a precarious position when the lockdown halted all events and productions. This case study delves into how I harnessed my diverse skill set to pivot my career and create a thriving business under restrictive circumstances.

The primary challenge was to quickly adapt to the new reality and find a way to generate income. The constraints were significant: limited resources, no physical audience, and strict lockdown measures. I had to think outside the box, leveraging my existing skills in a completely different way.

Leveraging four core strengths – a passion for Korean cuisine, branding expertise, photography skills, and knowledge of Facebook ads – I ventured into creating a culinary brand, Bibimkoh.​​​​​​​

To maximize efficiency and minimize costs, I employed various digital tools:
Scheduled Posts: I used social media management tools to schedule posts and place facebook ads with the right targeting, ensuring a consistent online presence without constant manual intervention.
Product Promotion: Regular posts about the dishes, including high-quality images and engaging content, kept the audience interested.
Order Management: Google Forms was used for order taking, streamlining the process and making it manageable.
The only manual aspects of the business were cooking, assembly, and delivery, which I handled personally.

Operating only on Sundays, it managed to sell at least PHP 10,000 worth of dishes each week. This success was not just in terms of financial gain but also in proving that with creativity and the right skill set, one can adapt to even the most challenging circumstances.
